India’s Jasprit Bumrah is widely regarded as one of the best fast bowlers in the world across formats. He currently occupies the fourth and sixth spots in the ICC Test and ODI rankings for bowlers.

On Saturday (February 3), Bumrah once again gave a glimpse of his brilliance as he got rid of England batter Ollie Pope with a peach of a delivery in the ongoing second Test at Vizag.

Having played a game-changing knock of 196 in the opening Test, Pope was once again looking ominous for the Indian team. However, Bumrah cut short his stay in the middle with a remarkable in-swinging yorker.

Pope had no answer to Bumrah’s searing yorker as he found his middle and leg stumps rattled. The right-hander eventually walked back to the pavilion for 23 off 55 balls.

In reply, the visitors were 143/4 in 31 overs at the time of writing this article. Zak Crawley was the top scorer for England so far with 76 off 78 balls while Bumrah was the pick of the Indian bowlers with the figures of 2/27 in his 8 overs.
