All-rounder Hardik Pandya attributed Team India’s recent dominant show in T20I cricket to the healthy dressing room environment created by the captain-coach duo of Suryakumar Yadav and Gautam Gambhir.

India hammered Bangladesh by 133 runs in the third and final T20I match in Hyderabad on Saturday (October 12) to clinch the series 3-0.

Speaking to the broadcaster after the match, Hardik said everyone was enjoying each other’s success in the Indian team and such environment was helping players to be the best version of themselves.

"The kind of freedom the skipper and the coach has given, that has been fantastic to the whole group. That is coming to all the players who are playing. At the end of the day, this sport, if you can enjoy, that's the best way you can get maximum out of yourself. When the dressing room is enjoying, when everyone's enjoying everyone's success, you feel like doing more. I think that has contributed a lot," Hardik said.

Hardik Pandya was awarded Player-of-the-Series for his stellar showing throughout the series. He amassed 118 runs from three T20Is at an incredible strike-rate of 222.64. The all-rounder also picked up one wicket after bowling seven overs in the series.

Asked about his fitness, Hardik said that he was feeling fantastic and was thankful to God for his recovery.

"Body has been fantastic, God has been kind to help me out. The process continues, nothing changes," he concluded.

Coming to the third T20I, the Men in Bue rode on Sanju Samson’s maiden T20I hundred (111 off 47) and Suryakumar’s whirlwind knock of 35-ball 75 to pile up a gigantic 297/6 on the board.

Hardik Pandya (47 off 18) and Riyan Parag (34 off 13) also chipped with crucial cameos as India achieved the second highest team total in T20I history.

With the ball, India restricted Bangladesh to 164/7. Ravi Bishnoi was the stand-out bowler with figures of 3 for 30 in his four overs while Mayank Yadav (2-32) returned with two wickets to his name.
