India’s Sanju Samson made a mockery of the Bangladesh attack in the third and final T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Saturday (October 12).
Opening the innings, Samson launched a brutal assault on the opposition bowlers right from the outset. The right-hander reached his half-century off 22 balls and took another 18 deliveries to notch up his maiden hundred in T20Is.
During his whirlwind knock, Samson was particularly severe on Rishad Hossain as he smashed the Bangladesh leg-spinner for five consecutive sixes in the 10th over of India’s innings.
After playing the first delivery as dot, Samson went on a rampage and aggregated 30 runs in the remaining five balls.

Having won the first two games in Gwalior and Delhi, Team India have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Thanks to Samson’s dazzling display in the third T20I, the hosts seem firm-favorites to sweep the series.
