India is 2-0 up in the three-match Test series.
India and West Indies will clash in the final encounter of the 3-match T20I series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. India is already leading the series 2-0 with an emphatic victory in Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
Now the caravan moves to Chennai with West Indies eyeing to save some face in the series, while India must be eyeing a whitewash in the series. West Indies were let down by their batting in the first T20I, whereas both batting and bowling failed them in the second T20I as Rohit Sharma hit them to all parts of the stadium.
They will wish that Oshane Thomas continues his good work and gets some support from the spinners, especially the experienced Bishoo, who has failed to impress. Their batting order also shocked many with Denesh Ramdin opening in the first match and Hetmyer in the second.
India, on the other hand, will be without three of their mainline bowlers, especially Kuldeep Yadav. Now it will be upto the bench strength to come good and do the job for India. Krunal Pandya was impressive with his bowling and batting both and much will depend on him and there is a possibility of some new faces getting a game.
The match will be important for both teams, as West Indies will look to end their dismal India tour with a win and India will look to end on a high of a whitewash, before they face Australia later this month.
