Rishabh Pant was batting on 89 when he played a reverse-sweep off James Anderson.
India's wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant played a brave shot while inching close to a hundred in the fourth Test against England. It was a reverse sweep shot off pacer James Anderson which went over Joe Root's head at first slip.
Pant is known for his fearless cricket and he doesn't compromise with his natural game even when close to a milestone. The 23-year-old was batting on 89 when he pulled off a reverse sweep with ease.
Along with the fans, the cricket fraternity was in awe of Pant's courageous batting on a tough pitch. He later went on to score a hundred by hitting Joe Root for a six while batting on 94.

Pant was dismissed on 101 by Anderson as he tried to take on the English pacer once again. But it was already too late for England as India took a lead despite being in a bothering position when Pant walked in to bat.
Washington Sundar and Pant put on a partnership of 113 runs for the seventh wicket to ensure India doesn't stay behind in the first innings. They lead by 89 runs with three wickets in hand at Stumps on Day 2.
