England defeated India by 227 runs in the first Test match.
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday took to their Twitter handle and shared pictures from Team India's training session in Chennai ahead of the second Test match between India and England.
After being thumped by England in the first Test match by 227 runs, Team India led by Virat Kohli will look to bounce back and level the four-match Test series.
However, with only one day remaining for the second Test match between India and England, Team India players return to training and hit the nets ahead of the second Test match, which will be played from February 13.
In the pictures posted by BCCI, India opener Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane and youngster Shubman Gill could be seen batting in the nets while skipper Virat Kohli could be seen practicing his fielding.
In another social media post by the BCCI, all-rounder Akshar Patel, who was ruled out from the first Test due to a minor niggle, was seen at the India nets as the hosts hit the nets for the first since losing the 1st Test on Monday.
Patel is likely to make his debut for Team India in the second Test in place of Shahbaz Nadeem, who was drafted into playing XI as a replacement for the former.
