Australia won the toss in second ODI and chose to bowl first.
India won the first ODI in Mumbai by 5 wickets thanks to an excellent performance by bowlers Mohammad Shami and Mohammed Siraj, who took three wickets each, and then by KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja with the bat, who added 108* runs for the sixth wicket to take India home in chase of 189 runs with five wickets in hand.
Rohit Sharma joined the Indian team directly in Vishakhapatnam and as the cricketer arrived at the airport, a fan tried to capture a video of himself along with the Indian captain but little did the fan know that he was in for a surprise.
Rohit showed off his humorous side and gifted a rose to the fan and said: “ye lo aapke liye (This is for you) and will you marry me?”
In the second ODI however, Australia dominated the proceeding thus far with India losing 9 wickets for 103 runs on the board. Virat Kohli led the run-making chart with 31 runs, while Mitchell Starc picked 4 wickets and Sean Abbott claimed three and Nathan Ellis took two.
