Rohit applied colours to his fellow teammates and members of the support staff.
Taking to Twitter, BCCI shared a video, in which Indian players including skipper Rohit Sharma, his predecessor Virat Kohli among others were seen playing with colours to celebrate the festival.
In the clip, Rohit can be seen leading the celebration as he applied colours to his fellow teammates and members of the support staff.
While walking towards the team bus, Rohit spotted Kohli and asked others to apply colour on him.
“Virat ko laga, laga, laga (Apply colour on Virat!,)” the Indian captain was heard saying in the video.
Rohit then put colour on Kohli as well as ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
In the third Test against Australia at Indore last week, the Rohit Sharma-led side suffered a nine-wicket defeat.
Despite the loss, India lead the four-match series 2-1 with one Test to go at the Narendra Modi Stadium, which they will have to win to reach the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
