The first ODI will be played in Mumbai on Jan 14.
The Indian team will be at full strength when it comes to some of the players coming back from a short break and will be taking on an Australian team flush with talent with both bat and the ball. Therefore, Team COC presents to you the Predicted Indian team XI for the first ODI.
Rohit Sharma is back to his opening position after having a much-needed break during the Sri Lanka T20I series. He may be opening the innings with his regular partner Shikhar Dhawan, who made a perfect return to the side with some good runs against Lanka, including a half-century. Both of them are one of the greatest modern-day opening combinations.
The fast bowling department might see Shardul Thakur, who picked wickets and scored runs partner up with Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. Shami is in good form with the ball and will be refreshed after a much-needed break from the game, while Bumrah is expecting to get back into rhythm after a decent return to the game against the Lankan team.
COC Predicted Team India XI for 1st ODI:
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (C), KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah
