Ibrahim Zadran, Karim Janat and Ikram Alikhal who were left out of the national team in the recently concluded ODI series against Ireland, are making a comeback into the squad.
While some uncapped players are picked in the side, some experienced members like Asghar Afghan, Gulbadin Naib, Javed Ahmadi, Usman Ghani, Yamin Ahmadzai and Sayed Shirzad have been left out of the squad.

Atal, who is one of the uncapped members in the team, mostly bats in the middle order and has played seven T20s for Kabul Eagles with 114 runs to his name. Kamal on the other hand is a bit more experienced as he has 898 runs in List A cricket for Mis Ainak Region.
Kamal has also played one Test match and bowls a bit of left-arm spin. Farooqi is another exciting left-arm fast bowler who was in spotlight in the Under-19 World Cup in 2020. The pacer has played one T20I and was a net bowler for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2020.
Rahman is a seam-bowling-allrounder while the chinaman bowler Noor has already played in the Big Bash League and Pakistan Super League. The side will be led by Shahidi, who replaced Afghan as the Test and ODI skipper this month.
