India pacer Mohammed Siraj plucked a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss England’s Josh Tongue on Day 5 of the second Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Siraj’s athletic grab came in the 64th over bowled by Ravindra Jadeja. Facing a tossed up delivery on leg-stump, Tongue attempted a flick but couldn’t keep it down.

Siraj, who was stationed at short mid-wicket, moved to his right and completed the catch on the dive. His brilliance saw Tongue walking back to the pavilion for just 2 as the hosts lost their ninth wicket in the daunting chase of 608 runs.

Here’s the video:

Akash Deep took the final wicket to script India’s series-levelling 336-run victory in the second game of the five-Test series.

Akash claimed six-wicket haul in England’s second innings and finished the match with 10 wickets to his name.
