Senior Women's tournaments have received an incredible increase in prize money.
Apart from Ranji Trophy winners, the runners-up will get INR 3 crores, and losing semifinalists with getting INR 1 crore each.
The Irani Cup winners will get INR 50 lakhs, double of what they got previously and the runners-up will get INR 25 lakhs. Duleep Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy-winning teams will pocket INR 1 crore each and runners-up will get INR 50 lakhs each.
Winners of the Professor DB Deodhar Trophy will get INR 40 lakhs, while the team losing in the final will get INR 20 lakhs. Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy winning team will get INR 80 lakhs and the runners-up will pocket INR 40 lakhs.
BCCI announces schedule for 2023-24 domestic season; a total of 1846 matches to be played
Amongst the premier Women’s tournaments, the one-day trophy winners will get INR 50 lakhs instead of 6 lakhs previously and the runners-up will pocket INR 25 lakhs.
The winning team of the Senior Women’s T20 trophy will get INR 40 lakhs in place of INR 5 lakhs and the runners-up will get INR 20 lakhs.
Jay Shah posted a tweet announcing the hike which stated: "I’m pleased to announce an increase in prize money for all @BCCI Domestic Tournaments. We will continue our efforts to invest in Domestic Cricket – which is the backbone of Indian Cricket. Ranji winners to get ₹5 crores (from 2 cr), Sr Women winners ₹50 lacs (from 6 lacs)"
