Azharuddeen became the second fastest century maker in the history of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Chasing Mumbai’s 196/7 in 20 overs, Kerala got over the line with 8 wickets in hand and 25 balls to spare as Azharuddeen wreaked havoc on the hosts bowlers.
The right-hander slammed a ton in just 37 balls while he finished with 137 not out off just 54 deliveries. His knock was laced with 9 fours and 11 huge sixes.
In the process, Azharuddeen also became the second fastest century maker in the history of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. It was also the third joint-fastest T20 hundred by an Indian batsman.
