India will play Australia in 4th BGT 2024 Test in Melbourne from December 26 onwards.
India captain Rohit Sharma is known for his wits and has endeared a lot of fans all around the world. He is currently leading the Indian team on a tour of Australia where they are prepping for the fourth Test of the BGT 2024 that will be played in Melbourne.
After Team India's net session, Rohit approached the spectators gathering outside the MCG nets to see the Indian players. The Indian captain even signed autographs and engaged with the crowd.
A young female fan kept begging Rohit, who was on his way back to the dressing room, for Shubman Gill.
Rohit first gestured with his hand for the fan to come back later but when the fan continued to persist, he responded: “Kaha se lau? (where will I get him?)"
Later the young fan spoke to RevSportz, saying: “My leg is broken. I put on a bandage and came. Yesterday I saw him briefly, but could not say anything because I started crying. I came a little late today because of my leg, hence I could not meet Shubman. But I hope he makes a comeback."
Shubman Gill has not been in the best of forms for India on this tour. He has scores of 31, 28, and 1 in Adelaide and Brisbane, had missed the first Test in Perth after injuring his thumb during practice.
