After suffering a humiliating 8-wicket defeat at the hands of Australia in the first Test at the Adelaide Oval, Team India are likely to make some changes in the playing XI for the Boxing Day Test.

In this regard, former India opener Wasim Jaffer on Monday (December 21) posted a cryptic message on Twitter for stand-in Test skipper Ajinkya Rahane, suggesting him to include Shubman Gill and KL Rahul in the playing XI.

Jaffer’s tweet seems to be a motivational quote but when you have a closer look and just notice the first letter from different words, the cryptic message can be guessed as: "Pick Gill and Rahul".

Team India recorded their lowest ever Test score (36/9) during their embarrassing loss in the Test series opener.

The visitors had a first innings lead of 53 runs but the Australian pacers, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, ran through the Indian batting line-up in the first session on Day 3 to change the course of the game.

Hazlewood (5 for 8) and Cummins (4 for 21) took all the wickets between them as none of the Indian batsmen managed to touch the double-digit mark.

Australia chased down the 90-run target comfortably in the fourth innings to go 1-0 up in the four-Test series.

The second Test will be played in Melbourne from December 26.
