Nov 27, 2020 marks the 6th anniversary of Hughes' passing.
It was on November 27 in 2014, when then 25-year-old Hughes, the youngest Australian to make twin centuries in one Test, was hit by a bouncer on the back of his head during a Sheffield Shield match in Sydney, Australia.
He collapsed to the ground unconscious and was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery and put into a medical coma. However, he lost the battle against time and passed away without regaining consciousness, just three days short of his 26th birthday at the time.
