Abhishek Sharma made a 30-ball century in his 108 runs in 3rd T20I.
Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma just blew away the Afghanistan bowlers, adding 142 runs for the first wicket inside 10 overs. Abhishek scored the bulk of the runs, hitting 108 in 34 balls with 9 fours and 11 sixes. He hit his century in only 30 balls, the fastest ever by a batter from a full-time member nation.
Samson made 50 off 35 balls before getting out for 152 runs. However, Afghanistan bowlers pulled back the scoring rate nicely, with Shreyas Iyer making 29, Shivam Dube hitting 14, and Ishan Kishan scoring 10 runs. India made 221/7 in 20 overs, while Azmatullah Omarzai picked two wickets.
However, one highlight for Afghanistan was their fielding, as they effected two direct hits resulting in run-outs, and Rashid Khan took an amazing catch at the boundary.
The wicket was Shivam Dube, who, on the 3rd ball of the 16th over from Omarzai, hit the ball in the air wide of long-on. But Rashid Khan made quite a lot of ground and flung himself in the air to take a brilliant two-handed catch while tumbling over.
