Australia will look to continue the winning momentum when they take on England in third T20I in the tri-series at Melbourne on Saturday. Australia have won their last two matches and another win will put them into the final. England will look to forget the Hobart loss and come back strongly to beat Australian to gain first points. England will bounce back hard to win the T20I as another loss will push them closer to exit. Australia will look to continue the winning momentum.

Best economical pick – Ashton Agar scalped Hales off the very first delivery of his spell after which he sent back the dangerous Sam Billings in his second spell. Meanwhile, Malan played beautifully and notched up his second consecutive half-century in the shortest format. But the spinners of Australia strangled them down and England collapsed from being 109/3 to 127/8.

Top captains & vice captains – Glenn Maxwell smashed a brilliant ton in the last game at Hobart and would look to prove a point or two to selectors for omitting him from the ODI squad. He notched up to his second T20 International century with a six over deep mid-wicket which also proved to be the winning shot for his team. It was all Glenn Maxwell on the day and there were no surprises that he was named Man of the Match for his stupendous all-round effort. Alex Hales and skipper Eoin Morgan scored quick-fire twenties. It was the new Middlesex skipper Dawid Malan’s half-century that guided England from the start. With England being 122/4 at the end of 14 overs, they were looking good for a total in the range of 180.

Smart pick – England have quality T20 players of all skills. They have a dynamic leader in Eoin Morgan who can lead from the front. They haveJos Buttler who can destroy any bowling attack on his day.

Cautious Pick – It was Maxwell show at Hobart where he took three key wickets apart from scoring a match-winning ton. Other bowlers went for runs. Billy Stanlake conceded 43 runs in his 4 overs. England could go on a rampage against Australian bowling in the Melbourne T20I.

My XI – Glenn Maxwell (Captain), Dawid Malan (Vice-Captain), Andrew Tye, Aston Agar, Alex Hales, David Willey, Marcus Stoinis, Jos Buttler, D'arcy Short, Eoin Morgan, Adil Rashid
