Samson dived to his right to complete the grab with just one hand.
After being put in to bat by India skipper KL Rahul, the hosts got off to a terrible start as they lost their top four for just 31 runs. While Indian bowlers were firing on all cylinders, fielders were ably supporting them.
One great piece of fielding was witnessed when Sanju Samson plucked a one-handed stunner behind the stumps to get rid of Takudzwanashe Kaitano (7).
During the 9th over of Zimbabwe’s innings, Mohammed Siraj bowled a delivery in the channel around off-stump. The ball swung away late and took the outside edge of Kaitano’s bat.
Samson anticipated the catch brilliantly as he dived to his right to complete the grab with just one hand.

Sanju Samson was brilliant as a wicketkeeper in the first 15 overs of Zimbabwe’s innings. He also took the catches to dismiss Innocent Kaia and Wesley Madhevere.
