Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan on Saturday (August 13) met the members of the Indian cricket team at the Mumbai airport as the team was leaving for Zimbabwe for the upcoming ODI series.
Dhawan also shared a couple of pictures with the veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan and the rest of the squad on Twitter to express his happiness. The actor also joked that Dhawan asked him a couple of riddles when they met on Saturday.
Sharing pictures on Twitter, Varun Dhawan wrote in the caption; “At 4 in the morning, I was like a boy in a candy shop. Got very excited to meet and chat with our men in blue about their upcoming tour. Also, @SDhawan25 asked me a couple of riddles.”
Notably, Shikhar Dhawan was earlier set to lead India in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, starting on August 18, but now he will be KL Rahul’s deputy on the tour.
