Jemimah Rodrigues scored 22 not out off 15 balls against RCB.
Asked to bat first, DC piled up 223/2 on the board with major contributions from Shafali Verma (84 off 45 balls) and skipper Meg Lanning (72 off 43 balls).
In reply, RCB managed 163/8 in their allotted 20 overs. While many batters got starts, no one managed to kick on and play a match-winning knock. Skipper Smriti Mandhana top scored with 35 off 23 balls.
During the match, DC batter Jemimah Rodrigues won the heart of the fans with her dance. Jemimah was caught on camera as she did a quick shake of the leg on the boundary line.
Later in the game, Jemimah also did bhangra to entertain the crowd near the boundary ropes.
With the bat, Jemimah Rodrigues scored 22 not out off 15 balls while coming in at No. 4. During her innings, she also used the Decision Review System (DRS) to check a waist-high no-ball bowled at her.
