The left-arm pacer returned with the figures of 2 for 24 in the first T20I against West Indies.
The left-arm pacer flourished on a sticky wicket, returning with the figures of 2 for 24 in his four overs as India restricted the hosts to 122/8 while defending a total of 190.
Kyle Mayers and Akeal Hosein were his two victims. While Arshdeep removed Mayers with a bouncer, he got rid of Akeal Hosein with a searing yorker.

On the eve of the second T20I, veteran India seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar lauded Arshdeep Singh, saying he is surprised by the maturity shown by his young new-ball partner.
"The best thing about him is that he knows exactly what is required," Bhuvneshwar told reporters on Sunday (July 31).
"What kind of field setting is needed, how to bowl to each batsman - very few newcomers display that kind of maturity," he added.
It was Arshdeep’s second game for India, having made his T20I debut against England in Southampton last month. On his debut, he had registered the figures of 2 for 18 in his 3.3 overs.
With his IPL exploits followed by an impressive performance for India, the 23-year-old has strengthened his claims for the T20 World Cup 2022 selection.
The showpiece ICC tournament is slated to be held in Australia from October 16 to November 13.
"Usually you learn these things as you play but he seems to have arrived with that kind of maturity," Bhuvneshwar said.
"Even in the IPL in the last couple of years, he has performed consistently. He knows exactly what he wants to do, he thinks a lot about his game."
