India whitewashed West Indies in the ODI series despite the absence of several first-choice players.
In a rain-marred affair, the visitors posted 225/3 on the board in 36 overs. Opener Shubman Gill starred with the bat with run-a-ball 98* while stand-in skipper Shikhar Dhawan (58) and Shreyas Iyer (44) chipped in with handy contributions.

West Indies were set a revised target of 257 in 35 overs but the hosts faltered under pressure and got bundled out for a paltry 137. It was a listless batting performance as most of the batters fell for a single-digit score.
Yuzvendra Chahal (4-17), Mohammed Siraj (2-14) and Shardul Thakur (2-17) ran through the Caribbean batting line-up, sharing eight wickets among them, helping India skittle out West Indies in just 26 overs.
With this victory, the Men in Blue swept the ODI series 3-0 despite the absence of several first-choice players, including regular captain Rohit Sharma, veteran batter Virat Kohli, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.
For their stunning performance in the third ODI, the Shikhar Dhawan-led Indian team received rich praise from the cricket fraternity on Twitter.
