As Team India is gearing up for a clean sweep in the third and final ODI against the West Indies, former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria backed the young left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh to make his ODI debut in the final encounter on Wednesday (July 27).

He also believes that Arshdeep can be a fantastic pick for the Indian cricket team for the T20 World Cup 2022, where he can do wonders for the Men in Blue as a left-arm pacer.

Danish Kaneria said in his latest YouTube video: “Mark my words. Arshdeep will play the third ODI and make an impact too. Arshdeep has the art, and he uses his mind while bowling. He bowls sensibly and knows how to take wickets.”

He added, “Arshdeep can be a fantastic option for the Indian team for T20 World Cup and maybe for Asia Cup as well. Asia Cup will be held in Dubai and he can be successful being a left-arm pacer.”

The former spinner also wants to see T Natarajan play for India again. He said that India has a lot of talented bowlers and now it is up to the team management to utilize them.

Kaneria signed off by saying, “I want to also see Natarajan playing for India again. He can make an impact just like he did in Australia. He is a fantastic bowler, but India has currently got an incredible bowling lot. Team management has to decide how to utilize its bowlers.”
