India to play three ODIs and five T20Is against West Indies starting July 22.
The Indian squad members flew to The Caribbean islands for their upcoming three-match ODI series against the West Indies which will be played in Ports of Spain, Trinidad from July 22 onwards.
The three ODIs are scheduled on July 22, July 24 and July 27 and will be played at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. After this, the two sides will also clash in a five-match T20I series with two of the games to be played in Florida, USA.
The All-India Senior Selection Committee decided to rest some of the senior Indian team players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and Jasprit Bumrah amongst others for the West Indies ODIs.
Shikhar Dhawan will be captaining the Indian team in the ODI series while all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will be his deputy. Shubman Gill has earned a recall to the Indian ODI side, which also features Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Sanju Samson in the batting department.
