Sachin Tendulkar gets lots of letters from his fans. However, his empowering and inspiring nature replies to those letters sets him apart. A 11-year-old boy named Marcus Kurishingal experienced Sachin's humility first hand.

Marcus had kept in touch with Tendulkar, as part of a class task, communicating his appreciation for the maestro who he considers his 'legend'.
As indicated by the youthful child, a "legend" is somebody who will help poor people. While Sachin's affection for the game is notable, the 11-year old referred to the philanthropic work that Sachin has done over the years.
While Marcus said thanks to Sachin for taking the time out to peruse his letter, Tendulkar went above and beyond and expressed gratitude toward him for the letter on Facebook.
