All the major stats and facts from Caribbean Premier League (CPL T20) 2020.
Trinbago Knight Riders defeated St Lucia Zouks in the final of the Caribbean Premier League 2020 (CPL T20) and clinched their record fourth title.
As usual, six teams took part in this season as well and all matches were played at two grounds - Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba and Queens Park Oval in Port of Spain. On these spin-friendly pitches Trinbago Knight Riders - a team of T20 specialists took full advantage and went on to win the tournament unbeaten. Runners-up St Lucia Zouks also did well but couldn't cross the winning line in the final.
The other two semifinalists Jamaica Tallawahs and Guyana Amazon Warriors had an average tournament while defending champions Barbados Tridents and St Kitts and Nevis disappointed throughout the tournament.
In the batting, Glenn Phillips, Lendl Simmons, Kieron Pollard, Roston Chase, Darren Bravo, Johnson Charles, etc did well while in the bowling spinners like Mujeeb ur Rahman, Imran Tahir, Akiel Hosein, Mohammad Nabi, and Rashid Khan dominated. Overall it's a dull season of CPL if we talk about the quality of cricket. And here is a statistical look at this season of CPL.
