The second Test match between host West Indies and Sri Lanka at Gros Islet in St. Lucia ended in a draw. Sri Lanka after winning the toss and opting to bat first could score only 253 runs with the help of captain Dinesh Chandimal's awesome knock of 119* runs, for West Indies Shannon Gabriel took 5 wickets.

In response, West Indies scored 300 runs and took a lead of 47 runs. Shannon Gabriel fired in second innings too and reduced Sri Lanka to 48/4 at one stage but Kusal Mendis's 87 and Niroshan Dickwella's 62 runs knock pulled things back for Sri Lanka and helped to set a target of 296 runs for West Indies on the 5th day.

West Indies also lost their first 4 wickets quickly but Kraigg Brathwaite, Shai Hope, Jason Holder and bad light helped West Indies to draw the match. West Indies lead by 1-0 in 3 Test match series. Shannon Gabriel (13/121) was named Man of The Match.
