India U19 defeated Australia U19 by 7 wickets in the second Youth Test.
The 14-year-old, who is known for his calm and quiet attitude, demonstrated his first public outburst by complaining after getting caught behind under suspicious circumstances.
Batting at a blistering strike rate of 142, Vaibhav had already hit 20 runs off just 14 balls, including two boundaries and a six, when Charles Lachmund's away delivery whizzed across Sooryavanshi.
The Australians were up in a heartbeat, and the umpire quickly raised his finger. Vaibhav stood his ground briefly, apparently upset. He stared at the umpire in surprise and pointed to his thigh pad before slowly strolling back to the pavilion, swinging his bat in displeasure—a rare display of emotion from the normally controlled adolescent.
Replays indicated that Vaibhav's frustration was somewhat justified, as the ball missed his bat and brushed his pads before landing in the keeper's gloves.

Australia U19, who chose to bat first, was bowled out for just 135 runs. Alex Lee-Young top-scored with a gritty 66 off 108 balls, including nine boundaries. Henil Patel and Khilan Patel were India's top two bowlers, each taking three wickets.
In reply, India U19 was knocked out for 171, gaining a 36-run lead. In the second innings, Australia was knocked out for 116 runs, with Henil collecting three wickets.
Ayush Mhatre smashed three fours in the first four balls of his innings as he chased 81 to win. However, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi attempted to hit his first ball out of the park but was holed out at mid-off for a golden duck.
Despite the loss of two wickets, India U19 won the match by 7 wickets, with Vedant Trivedi remaining unbeaten on 33.
