Mumbai's MCA XI is playing TNCA XI in the Buchi Babu tournament.
Mumbai won the toss and chose to bat first, and Sarfaraz Khan came out to bat at no. 5 for the Ayush Mhatre-led side. Sarfaraz hammered 38 runs from 114 balls before getting retired hurt. Sarfaraz hit 10 fours and 6 sixes in his knock.
With Suved Parkar, Sarfaraz added 72 runs off 121 balls for the fourth wicket, and then with Aakash Parkar, he further added over 100 runs for the sixth wicket.

Sarfaraz Khan had made his India Test debut against England last year and scored twin centuries in his first outing. He scored his first Test ton, 150, against New Zealand in Bengaluru in November. However, he was not picked for the five-Test England tour recently. He has 371 runs in six Tests for India with three fifties and one ton.
Sarfaraz has made huge strides in his fitness, and with this knock, made a strong case to be included in India's team for the forthcoming home series against South Africa and the West Indies.
The two Test matches against the South African squad are set for Guwahati (November 22–26) and Kolkata (November 14–18), while India will play the West Indies in Ahmedabad and Delhi from October 2–14.
