Pakistan was bowled out for 92 in chase of 295-run target.
The team somehow defeated the West Indies 2-1 in a T20I assignment before the start of the ODI series. Pakistan was humiliated in the next two matches after winning the first ODI, and the hosts made a huge comeback in the last encounter on Tuesday.
West Indies was asked to bat first and posted 294/6 in 50 overs. Captain Shai Hope made 120* with 10 fours and five sixes, while Justin Greaves made 43*, Roston Chase made 36, and Evin Lewis made 37 runs. Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed took two wickets each for Pakistan.
In response, Pakistan was blown away by Jayden Seales, who dismantled the first four wickets easily. Three of them scored ducks, and Babar Azam made 9 runs. Salman Agha made 30, and Mohammad Nawaz made 23* as Pakistan was bowled out for 92 runs, losing the game by 202 runs and the series 1-2.
Jayden Seales took 6/18, while Gudakesh Motie took two wickets.
The focus, during the Pakistan innings, was on the way Mohammad Rizwan got out. Coming into bat after both the Pakistani openers were dismissed, much depended on Rizwan, who is by far one of the best batters of the team along with Babar Azam.
Facing a red-hot Jayden Seales, Rizwan shouldered arms to an inswinging delivery in a brain fade decision, and the ball hit the top of his off-stump. As Rizwan watched in surprise, his innings ended with a golden duck, leaving Pakistan 3/8 in 2.5 overs.
