The MCA function to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai was filled with joy and elation as many former and current Mumbai cricketers graced the occasion. They also enjoyed some dancing and singing with Bollywood music composer Shekar Ravjiani hosting the show.
Over the years, this venue has provided fans with unforgettable moments, including India's win in the 2011 ODI World Cup. Many renowned cricketers have played their home games here, including Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Rohit Sharma.
During the anniversary celebration, Gavaskar's spectacular dance moves provided a visual treat for all fans.
In a video going viral, Gavaskar was seen shaking his leg on the famous Bollywood song, "Om Shanti Om," along with the popular musician and singer Shekhar Ravjiani.
After Gavaskar was done with his dance moves, Shekhar went to Sachin Tendulkar and asked him to sing and the master blaster sang ‘Om Shanti Om’.
Mumbai's legendary men's and women's cricketers from both domestic and international competitions were also there. All emphasized how important the stadium has been in influencing their careers and India's overall cricketing journey.

Earlier this week, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis issued a letter to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and its followers congratulating them on Wankhede Stadium's 50th anniversary.
