Ayush Badoni of India A left his mark with an amazing catch in his team’s latest win over UAE in the ongoing ACC Emerging Nations Asia Cup T20 2024 tournament. This match was played at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1).

UAE had won the toss and chosen to bat first. Thanks to Rahul Chopra’s 50 and captain Basil Hameed’s 22, UAE posted 107 runs in 16.5 overs. Rasikh Dar picked 3/15 for India, while Ramandeep Singh scalped two wickets as well.

In response, Abhishek Sharma hammered 58 in 24 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes, while Tilak Varma made 21 runs. Ayush Badoni finished the match with 12* in 9 balls, hitting a four and a six.

However, Badoni had previously impressed with his excellent catching effort in the field. On the sixth ball of the 15th over, Ramandeep Singh produced a fullish-length delivery to Jawadullah around the leg stump.

The UAE player attempted to smash the ball towards long-on, but Ayush Badoni came racing to stop it.

Ayush Badoni put forth a fantastic effort by running in, diving to the right, and completing an absolutely amazing leaping catch as UAE's ninth wicket fell. Muhammad Jawadullah had to walk back to the hut after scoring one run from two balls.
