Tendulkar paid a unique tribute to the southpaws on their special day.
The International Left Handers Day is celebrated all over the world on August 13, and cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar paid a unique tribute to the southpaws on their special day.
Tendulkar is widely regarded as one the greatest batters ever to play international cricket. He used to bat right-handed, but what's interesting is that he is a left-hander off the field.
The batting maestro is predominantly a left-hander, doing most of the activities with the help of the left hand such as writing.
On the occasion of International Left Handers Day, Tendulkar shared a video on social media, in which he can be seen batting left-handed. The legendary cricketer also rolled his arm by switching hands.
During his playing days, Sachin Tendulkar shared the dressing room with some of the greatest left-handed betters India has ever produced like Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina.
In a career spanning 24 years, Tendulkar represented India in 200 Tests and 463 ODIs, scoring the world record number of runs (15921 in Tests and 18426 in ODIs) and centuries (51 in Tests and 49 in ODIs).
