Vinod Kambli played 17 Tests and 104 ODIs for India from 1991-2000.
Former India batter Vinod Kambli’s shocking video has surfaced on social media in which he is seen in an inebriated state. He is seen struggling to stay on his feet and requests passersby to help him.
He can be seen leaning on a motorbike and asking other people to help him get from one place to another, while a person records the ordeal on camera.
Kambli has previously struggled with health concerns, including a heart attack he sustained while driving in Mumbai in 2013. A year previously, the former batter had two of his clogged arteries treated with angioplasty.
He also separated from his wife Andrea, who accused him of domestic assault in 2023 and filed an FIR against him.
The video shook fans and followers alike with multiple users taking to social media to express their shock and wish the former batter strength in his fight against his struggles.
Circle of Cricket could not independently verify the authenticity of the video.

Vinod Kambli, the childhood friend of Sachin Tendulkar, made quite a splash in international cricket when he debuted for India in 1991. He was the first Indian batter to score back-to-back double centuries in Tests, a feat he achieved against Zimbabwe and England in 1993.
He played 17 Tests, scoring 1084 runs, but a flaw in his technique against pace and short ball, saw his Test career end before he turned 25 years old. He did have a decent ODI career, scoring 2477 runs at an average of 32.59 in 104 matches. He played in the 1992 and 1996 World Cups for India as well.
