Out of favor Pakistan batter Ahmad Shahzad might not be in Pakistan’s plans anymore, but he is still playing cricket, albeit in parks with local residents of the country.
Ahmad has shifted part-time to being a media pundit while playing domestic cricket for Pakistan. He played 13 Tests, 81 ODIs, and 59 T20Is for Pakistan in which he scored 982, 2605, and 1471 runs respectively. He was the first Pakistan to score a century in T20 World Cups and T20Is.
Despite his talent, Ahmed Shehzad's career had ups and downs, including controversies and inconsistent form. He last played for Pakistan in a T20 in 2019.
Meanwhile, in a viral video on social media, Ahmad Shazad is seen playing cricket with some locals in the park and faces humiliation by the bowler. The video has come from the Pakistani city of Chitral and the game is being played with a tennis ball.
The video shows Ahmed Shehzad facing four deliveries from a local bowler who is not even a proper cricketer, wearing a traditional Pakistani outfit. Shahzad can be heard boasting about hitting six sixes in six balls, Shahzad gets clean bowled by the bowler three times in four balls.
The only shot he manages to hit is a mistime shot to the leg side.
