On Friday (July 12), Babar once again became the butt of jokes after his wrongly worded tribute post for legendary England pacer James Anderson went viral on social media.
Babar used the word "cutter" to describe Anderson's bowing instead of "swing", for which he is known for. Although the Pakistan captain swapped the words in his edited post, the damage was done and he was trolled
"It was a privilege to face your swing, Jimmy! The beautiful game will now miss one of its greatest. Your incredible service to the sport has been nothing short of remarkable. Huge respect for you, GOAT," Babar wrote with a photo of Anderson, whose illustrious Test career ended on Friday.
Babar Azam replaced cutter with swing in the edited version but netizens were quick to notice his older post and the screenshots of the same went viral.

The 41-year-old finished his Test career 704 wickets from 188 matches at an average of 26.45. He played the record second-most number of games in the longest format after Sachin Tendulkar (200).
Anderson ended his career as the third-highest wicket-taker in Tests after Muthiah Muralitharan (800) and Shane Warne (708). He is the highest wicket-taker amongst seamers in the traditional format of the game.
