Pakistan will play third T20I against England in Cardiff on May 28.
In a video shared on social media, the right-handed batter can be heard lecturing spectators and imploring them to give him some space instead of mobbing him. Security officials were also with him.
The Lahore-born batter, dressed in a white t-shirt and cream-colored trousers, has a large fan base. However, Babar was irritated since he appeared occupied and the fans continued harassing him. Out of annoyance, he requested some space.
This comes after Babar Azam’s underwhelming performance in the 2nd T20I, where he could only manage 32 runs off 26 balls. Pakistan needs to win the third T20I against England to remain alive in the series.
England, on the other hand, will be captained by Moeen Ali, as Jos Buttler has been given a leave to attend the birth of his third child.
