The Pakistan squad was seen dragging rocks uphill in a video during their ongoing fitness training at Abbottabad's Army School of Physical Training (ASPT). A total of 29 players have been called up to the regime.

Mohsin Naqvi, the newly appointed head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), hopes to see a significant increase in the squad's fitness levels and the ability to clear the boundary more consistently.

Recently, the players were seen undertaking obstacle courses and other activities to boost their endurance. In one of the camp's more challenging workouts, athletes had to carry rocks over their heads while ascending uphill.

The likes of Naseem Shah, Mohammad Rizwan, and Iftikhar Ahmed were seen undergoing the programme under the supervision of the armed forces.

Not only this, but the players also got to try their hands at firing rifles and sniper weapons, and do military training amongst other things. The various videos also show players doing obstacle courses, including climbing up a wall with each other's assistance as part of a physical and team-bonding exercise.

The training camp began on March 25, and will end on Monday, April 8.
