Tewatia scored his maiden FC ton for Haryana in his team's Ranji win over Jharkhand.
Tewatia walked into bat with Haryana in a spot of bother at 247/7 and blasted a quickfire 144 comprising 24 fours and one six, helping the team reach a daunting total of 509. In response, Jharkhand were bowed out for 119 and 185 in two innings as Haryana registered a comprehensive win by innings and 205 runs.
However, the thing of focus instead of his maiden and belligerent maiden FC ton was his new look in which Tewatia sported a thick moustache which looked retro. This led to fans comparing him with Javed Miandad, who sported the same moustache in the 90s.
