Babar starred for Pakistan with 58 despite their 45-run loss in 5th T20I.
Chasing 225 runs to win the T20I, Pakistan only managed 179/7 and Babar Azam top-scored with 58, which was his third consecutive half-century in the ongoing series. However, it was not enough for Pakistan as they lost by 45 runs.
Earlier, New Zealand had posted 224/7 with Finn Allen scoring a Kiwi record highest score of 137 in 62 balls with 16 sixes and 5 fours to his name.
During the chase, Babar Azam looked in good form and struck eight fours and a solitary six, which injured a fan. The incident happened on the fourth ball of the 13th over of Pakistan's chase when Matt Henry was bowling.
Henry bowled a short-pitched delivery to Babar, who pulled the ball towards deep midwicket. Meanwhile, a fan tried to take a catch but ended up getting injured by Babar's powerful shot.
The fan landed awkwardly as another man completed the catch, drawing an animated reaction from Babar, who had a look of concern on his face.
