Babar Azam would be hoping to return to form in the Boxing Day Test at the MCG.
Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s struggles continued on the ongoing Australia tour even after stepping down as captain in all three formats of the game.
Once considered the key pillar of Pakistan's batting lineup, Babar had a disappointing outing in the first Test against Australia, scoring 21 and 14 during his team’s 360-run loss in Perth.
Now, Babar is eager to deliver with the bat in the second Test against Australia, which is set to be played at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne on December 26.
The Pakistan team arrived in Melbourne a few days before the match and has been engaging in intense practice sessions. After one of these sessions, a touching moment occurred when Babar interacted with fans at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
The former skipper was interacting with his female fans and signing autographs for them at the MCG, and one of them asked Babar for his hat, but he refused to give it, and gave a hilarious reason.
In a viral video on social media, a female fan requested Babar's hat during autograph signing, but he kindly declined, citing that he only had one hat and couldn't give it to her.
