Rashid Khan underwent a minor surgery for a back issue in UK recently.
Rashid Khan, who is an integral part of Afghanistan's cricket team, played a pivotal role in their success at the World Cup 2023. After the tournament, the leg-spinner had to undergo a minor back surgery in the UK on November 24.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced the successful completion of the procedure and anticipated a swift recovery for Rashid.
Despite his dedication to the game, Rashid's medical condition forced him to miss the Big Bash League (BBL) season, where he was scheduled to play for the Adelaide Strikers.

As he recovered from his surgery, Rashid got a special visit from his GT teammate and now captain, Shubman Gill. The Afghan spinner was thrilled to meet Gill and called him 'Captain Sahab.'
"Thank you for stopping by Captain Sahab," said Rashid Khan on Instagram.
The picture of both the stars got reactions from fans and England’s Michael Vaughan and GT were thrilled to see both men together.
The former England skipper said: "Love this." GT, on the other hand, was hoping that there was no evil eye cast on their stars.
