Sarfaraz Khan, the talented Mumbai cricketer, who also plays for Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), tied the knot with a girl from Shopian, Kashmir on August 6, 2023.
As per local reports, the occasion lit up the southern region with celebratory zeal. The wedding happened in the bride’s house and local media covered the event in detail.
The videos and photos from the ceremony went viral on social media and showed the couple during the wedding ceremony and reception.
A video also became popular because the reporter there asked Sarfaraz Khan about his non-selection in the Indian team, a query which the cricketer smartly answered.
He said: "If the Almighty has destined, I will play for India one day."
