Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi has been making quite a noise in the ongoing Hundred 2023 tournament in the UK where he is turning out for the Welsh Fire team. His ability to produce unplayable yorkers has been striking a chord with the cricket lovers.

Afridi’s yorkers are a major weapon in his bowling arsenal, and they have helped him to become one of the most successful bowlers in world cricket.

Afridi has a very strong arm, which allows him to bowl yorkers with a lot of pace and accuracy. He can control the length of his yorkers very well, which makes them even more difficult to hit.

He made his Hundred debut against the Manchester Originals in a rain-shortened game. With the match reduced to 40 balls per side, Fire opener Luke Wells smashed a stunning 57 from 23 balls to take the home side up to 94-3.

Debutant Shaheen then trapped Phil Salt and Laurie Evans lbw with the first two balls of the Originals' innings. The Originals recovered but came up nine runs short, finishing on 85-4.

However, after taking 2 wickets on the first two balls of his debut in the Hundred, Shaheen saw four of his last five deliveries hit for four by Max Holden.
