WATCH: KL Rahul walks out for a net session at NCA; plays some of his trademark shots

KL Rahul has been out of competitive action for a while.

With the fast-approaching Asia Cup 2023 and the subsequent ODI World Cup, the Indian team is sweating over the fitness of quite a few players.

Having sustained a thigh injury during the IPL 2023 season, KL Rahul has been out of competitive action for a while and his fitness is a major concern for the team.

Rahul, who can open the innings and bat in the middle-order besides performing keeping duties for the side, underwent surgery in London in May. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.

Rahul has been keeping his fans updated about his recovery through his social media posts. On Wednesday (July 19), the right-hander shared a video on Instagram, in which he can be seen walking out with his kitbag for a net session at NCA.

In the clip, Rahul played some of his trademark shots with utmost finesse and also sweat it out in the gym, subtly indicating that he’s primed for India comeback.
