Afridi led Asia Lions will clash with World Giants in the final of LLC 2023 on Monday.
Shahid Afridi, the former Pakistan captain, who is leading the Asia Lions in the ongoing LLC 2023 or the Legends League Cricket Masters tournament in Doha, Qatar, was seen obliging a security official with an autograph on the Indian national flag.
Asia Lions defeated Indian Maharajas in the eliminator on Saturday and will now face the World Giants in the final of the tournament on Monday.
Opting to bat first, the Shahid Afridi-led side posted a total of 191/5 in 20 overs after Upul Tharanga smashed 50 off 31 balls and Mohammad Hafeez scored 38 off 24 balls. Then, Sohail Tanvir, Abdur Razzak, and Hafeez scalped two wickets each as the Maharajas were bundled out for 106.
Afridi was approached by a fan who wanted an autograph on the Indian flag, as seen in a video that Cricket Pakistan shared on its Twitter account. The former captain of Pakistan held the Indian flag with reverence and signed it for the admirer, who smiled as he handed it back.

For Indian Maharajas, captain Gautam Gambhir made 32 in 17 balls as his team lost by 85 runs. Earlier, Stuart Binny and Pragyan Ojha scalped two wickets while Pravin Tambe scalped one wicket.
