Shaheen will marry Shahid Afridi's daughter on February 3

Shaheen Afridi got a warm welcome into the family by former Pakistan captain and his father-in-law Shahid Afridi after the batter hit him for a huge six as they battled in a practice session ahead of Shaheen’s wedding to Shahid’s daughter.

Shaheen Afridi has been rehabbing for his injured knee and was seen bowling to Shahid Afridi, who took advantage of the fuller length delivery and smoked him for a huge hit on the off-side. Shaheen is expected to make his cricketing comeback in the upcoming Pakistan Super League 2023 (PSL 8).

In another video doing rounds on internet, Shahid Afridi can be seen giving throwdowns to Shaheen Afridi and after Shaheen pulled him for a boundary, Shahid can be heard advising him: "What is happening now is that your bat is still not coming from behind."

The Nikah ceremony is scheduled for February 3. Shaheen had previously expressed his wish to marry Ansha in an interview and will join his PSL franchise, Lahore Qalandars, after the ceremony on February 4.
