Durban defeated Cape Town by 5 wickets with Kyle Mayers getting Player of the Match.
Brevis gave SA20 an amazing start thanks to his scintillating half-century in the tournament’s curtain raiser.
However, in the next match of his team, the MI Cape Town, Brevis got one of the best yorkers ever, bowled by Kyle Mayers of Durban Super Giants. This was the fifth match of the competition between table toppers MI Cape Town tussle and Durban Super Giants in Cape Town.
Skipper Quinton de Kock gave the new ball to all-rounder Kyle Mayers, who is known for swinging the ball and he did the job for his team. He bowled a sharp in-dipper to Brevis, who was too slow to counter the yorker and had two of his three stumps flattened.
Unfortunately, Brevis was yet to score a run and was dismissed for a duck off the second ball he faced.
