AUS v SA 2022-23: WATCH- Kagiso Rabada hilariously gives Temba Bavuma a high five to his face

South Africa lost the 1st Test by 6 wickets inside 2 days.

Though South Africa lost the first Test to Australia in Gabba, Brisbane by 6 wickets inside two days on a green top pitch, fast bowler Kagiso Rabada stood out with excellent bowling in both innings for the Proteas.

South Africa was put into bat after Pat Cummins, Australia's captain won the toss. However, the pitch turned out to be the difference as Proteas were shot out for 152 runs with Kyle Verreynne scoring 64 and Temba Bavuma making 38. Starc and Lyon picked 3 wickets apiece.  

Australia then posted 218 with Travis Head top-scoring with 92 and Kagiso Rabada taking 4/76. In the second do, South Africa only managed 99 runs with Pat Cummins running through with 5/42.

Set only 34 runs to win, Rabada made life hell for Australian batters, picking 4/13, including getting David Warner out for single-digit scores in both innings, though the hosts won by 6 wickets.  

Something funny happened after Rabada dismissed Warner in the second innings, when the Proteas were celebrating his wicket, Kagiso Rabada unknowingly high-fived Temba Bavuma in his face with full force as he wasn’t looking in his direction, leading to a funny reaction from the Proteas batter.
